Pressure calibration

Pressure Calibration is the process of verifying and adjusting a pressure instrument’s readings (such as gauges, transmitters, or sensors) by comparing them against a highly accurate reference standard. Known pressures are applied to the device under test (DUT), and any discrepancies are corrected to ensure accuracy, reliability, safety, and traceability in industrial applications. The process typically involves connecting the DUT and reference instrument to a pressure source, recording readings at multiple points (both increasing and decreasing pressures), making necessary adjustments, and documenting all results and corrections
